O’Neill’s 2008 Invitational surf competition The Mission was undertaken in the Basque Region. To support the competition Ever Creative and Juretic worked to supply a Flash based immersive site that I designed and developed the Flash in Actionscript 3.
O’Neill worked with Lace Media Group to create a Flash based website for the 2008 Highland Open. Lace then approached Juretic to provide the Flash design and Development as well as hosting and development of the back office administration.
I supplied the Flash design and development using Actionscript 3.

One of my first projects whilst the Senior Designer at Juretic Media has been to redesign the Best4Systems ecommerce website. The site uses Aceflex for the ecommerce system allowing the use of a Thawte Secure Certificate.
The design has focussed on creating an easier route to purchase for the users of the site whilst bringing in a friendlier feel to the site.

City developers Karis required a new site to help showcase their developments across Brighton and approached Juretic for a search engine friendly solution.
I provided the Information Architecture, User Experience Design and Front End Development.

User Experience Design, or UX as it is commonly referred to, is the practice of designing a website or application or product or anything that is intended for a person to use with the usability of the thing being designed at the forefront of the design process. Research, Information Architecture, 2 dimensional treatments or mocks, prototyping, user-testing and QA testing all help to create a good User Experience.
Defining the User Experience is of key importance as it allows the designer to visualise the intended users and the key demographic. User scenarios will assist the structural design of thestructural design of the site and allow the visitors paths through the site to be mapped. Analysis of the competition will allow you to see what they do well and point you towards better Information Architecture and Sitepaths by spotting opportunities they may have missed and using them to help visitors achieve their goals.
Questions which I often ask in the UX Design Process include:
These are only a number of examples I use but you may have more to contribute.
Whilst at Worth Digital I was responsible for many Lucozade Sport Online Marketing campaigns including many that I had the chance to Art Direct from initial conception through to delivery.
Some of the work required me to Art Direct photo shoots with models to capture the scenes we were after.

Whilst the Web Designer at Worth Digital I supplied the front end development to the Channel 4 Learning website. As part of this redesign I was asked to supply the design for the Channel 4 Learning Shop.

The design of the shop updated the original shop and I supplied Information Architecture, User Experience Design and front end development.
Worth Digital won the contract to create the website for the Civil Service. This lead to me prociding the front end code for the site which had very strict criteria and had to comply with web standards as well as perform well on the archaic browsers Internet Explorer 5 and 5.5.

As part of my work at Worth Digital I had a key role in creating the award winning Step into the NHS website. The site is aimed at 14 to 16 year olds to help promote careers in the NHS.

My role in the project was to design and develop the key piece in Flash to help the users map out what career would suit them from the many that the NHS offer. This proved to be an engaging campaign and won an NMA Effectiveness Award in 2008.
I also provided much of the design and front end development for the rest of the site also.
